FAQs  - About Porting Landlines (Click to expand)

  • Can I bring my current landline number to the 4GPBX?

Yes - this is a standard included feature of our Project Management process. You simply provide some details in a simple form and then our team do all of the administration and communication with suppliers. The process typically takes 2 working weeks and until the numbers port, we simply divert your calls to the new platform. The cost is also straightforward - £10 per single number and/or £100 one-off per continuous range for numbers.

  • What is porting?

Porting is transferring calls from one supplier who bills you to us. Once a port is completed, you stop paying them line rentals and your calls are delivered onto our platform, where we do not charge you a monthly fee.

  • Who liaises with my current provider?

Once we have the right information from you about the line numbers involved and the current billing arrangements, then it is in the hands of our project team.

  • What paperwork do I have to do to bring my numbers across to you?

here is a simple form for each SITE which you have (not each number). You can see how simple it is by clicking HERE

  • Can I bring my mobile numbers to you?

Yes. You are able to port mobile numbers to our Unlimited SIMS (see HERE for details of this great deal). Porting Mobile numbers is usually more straightforward and is referred to a PAC’ing. Please see the FAQs on The “UNLIMITED” mobile Bundle below.

  • What if I want to leave 4GPBX? Can I take my numbers back?

Yes - When you leave us you simply request a PAC code from us and, as long as you are out of our 90-day minimum agreement and have given 30 days' notice, then you are free to leave with our best wishes.
